MANY LANGUAGES ONE WORLD! ΠΟΛΛΕΣ ΓΛΩΣΣΕΣ ΕΝΑΣ ΚΟΣΜΟΣ!

School project, 26.09.2016 - 28.10.2016

Our Kindergarten is going to celebrate EDL in the context of a multicultural – multilingual project with the title: “MANY LANGUAGES ONE WORLD – ΠΟΛΛΕΣ ΓΛΩΣΣΕΣ ΕΝΑΣ ΚΟΣΜΟΣ” through a variety of activities such as poems, fairy tailes, fhysical games, crafts and face painting, E-twinning project, language games and quizzes, communication through Skype and the use of a variety of IT tools (Taxedo for wordclouds, Audacity - open source digital audio editor and recording computer software application, etc). The duration of the project is 5 weeks. In order to promote language diversity we are going to use the next languages: Greek, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Albanian. Finally, the activities will be conducted in the classroom and in the school building and are addressed to students, teachers and local community.

Rösta på årets mest innovativa evenemang! 

För att ge lite extra krydda till Europeiska språkdagen kan alla som besöker webbplatsen rösta på det mest nyskapande språkdagsevenemanget. Det kan bedömas utifrån kreativitet, överförbarhet, eller för att det verkligen representerar dagens anda. Du kan rösta under en månads tid, mellan 20:e september och 20:e oktober. Vinnaren koras i december. Den arrangör som får flest röster tilldelas ett litet pris.

Vinnare 2014 var Koluszki lågstadieskola i Polen. Deras evenemang som fått namnet "Learning languages is fun" fick över 1000 röster. Ett stort grattis till vinnarna!


The winner in 2015 is Europe House Dubrovnik from Croatia. Their initiative ‘Let‘s Celebrate Europe‘s Linguistic Diversity!’ was voted the most innovative event of the 2015 European Day of Languages and received over 18.000 votes. Congratulations to the winners!
