The interactive EDL database constitutes the key feature of the EDL website. First established in 2002, the database serves the purpose of pooling the various EDL events across Europe. Users may input, view or search for events.
 

Search the EDL calendar of events
Through its search function, people interested in organising an EDL event may search the database for ideas and contacts across Europe. The events may be filtered by year, event type, country, target group or key word. By clicking "Details", information on the event and contact details of the event organiser can be found.

Add your events to the calendar
In order to promote the European Day of Languages, the Council of Europe encourages organisers to input their EDL events into the online database. The database serves to promote innovative ideas for events and to encourage cooperation and exchange of information across Europe.
