Audacity ☆

A tool for recording and editing sound files. Requires downloading, for use. Completely free.

Evaluation: Very useful tool for numerous audio-based tasks. It features many functions and may seem slightly complex at first. However, once the ‘how-to’ is mastered, usage and the production of material becomes rather easy. Audacity lends itself to many possible pedagogical and didactical usages.
