European Day of Languages 2017 Toronto

Our 8th European Day of Languages 2017 will offer free sample classes in 13 languages: Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and Swedish. In addition to that, guests will have the chance to participate in interactive language games and quizzes using iPads. To top off the evening, a professional string quartet will entertain the guests with music by European composers.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

We were most impressed by the creativity and great effort which went into organising the events submitted and would like to thank all organisers of EDL events in 2019.
