Let's Travel Abroad

The school organises practical workshops (guided by foreigners and those who speak foreign languages) in which pupils become familiar with foreign languages and respective cultures. The workshops are aimed at introducing sociocultural specifics or particular cultures, practising everyday phrases in foreign languages and dealing with a pre-selected topic. This year’s topic is Travelling abroad. The pupils will find out how to organise their trip abroad (e.g. how to get there, where to stay, what to do there etc.), learn and practise phrases which might be useful when travelling to foreign countries. Afterwards, the pupils record influencer videos in which they introduce what they learnt and practised in the workshops. They share the videos with their schoolmates, teachers and parents in MS Teams in order to encourage foreign language learning and promote practical usage of foreign languages.
