Die Schüler erforschen die Bedeutung des Wortes „Kompetenz“ und sehen sich ein Video über die Anerkennung Europas in der Welt an. Sie beantworten die Frage, was das Wort „europäisch“ für sie bedeutet und wählen eine Fremdsprache aus, in der sie etwas über die Kompetenzen sagen, die sie besitzen. Jüngere Schüler erforschen das Wort Schule und Wochentage in 10 europäischen Sprachen.
