European Day of Languages

 Challenge, 26 set 2023, Lillers, França

Language teachers in the school have designed and selected activities together. Pupils take part in various activities throughout the day to get points on their secret agent's passport : quizzes, tongue twisters, dubbing, writing song lyrics, initiating each other to a new language, playing games, taking pictures in the EDL photobooth, playing an international escape game, speaking in foreign languages over a tea at the language café,... The ring tones of the school bell are changed to play European national anthems, a special menu with traditional meals from the countries which languages are taught in our school is offered. Participating teachers teaching various subjects in the school give a part of their lesson in a foreign language. The students getting the most points for the day win a prize : 5 individual prizes and another prize for the most engaged class. The students will host and present the award ceremony.
