European Day of Languages at Saint Felix School

European day of languages at Saint Felix: 1. Tutor time - Who wants to be Millionaire. European Day of Languages Special. 2. Special European lunch menu at the Dining Hall. 3. Library 'European book display'. 4. European Poem competition. 5. Macmillan coffee morning collaboration (Friday 27th, break time at the dining hall) . 6. T-shirt design. National contest. 7. MFL and PE lessons activities. 8. Teacher nomination: A teacher will win a price for using the most words in a European language around the school next week. 9. Language Pledge: students will get sponsored for using a European language for the day (Friday 27th). Money will be donated to Macmillan cancer support. 10. Informative school display. 11. Geography display work on European Countries. 12. School Assembly ran by our Language ambassadors: 13 European languages and 23 different languages spoken in our school community.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.
