“Multilingualism is a Treasure” art contest and award ceremony with a speak dating session

If you are a teacher or a student at an elementary school in Czechia, then join the art contest "Multilingualism is a Treasure" and win one of many prizes. From late May to late September, children submit art works that reflect their multilingual experience.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

Long live the European Day of Languages/ Vive la Journée européenne des langues

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
