"Open heart to languages"

Once again, the European Day of Languages has been celebrated in our school. This year, our students had the opportunity to be exposed to 2 other languages. A mother who is a french teacher, as well as a mother who comes from the Czech Republic presented to our students their languages. Along with the English teacher, we listened to songs, learned to greet, and colored the national flag and landmarks of France and the Czech Republic. It was a rewarding and amusing experience that serves as a great reminder of how rich our vast linguistic and cultural european heritage is.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

The event received 900+ votes and was organised by Istituto Superiore “Secusio”, Caltagirone, Italia.
