 Language Week, 26 Medi 2025 - 30 Medi 2025

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, our entire school community engaged in a vibrant and interactive project inspired by the 2025 theme “Languages open our hearts and minds.” Pupils from all grades prepared and presented a variety of creative activities for their classmates, including multilingual name introductions, animal sounds in different languages, cultural dances, short theatre scenes, and songs in various European languages. The program also featured playful language games such as sentence-building with multilingual word chains, humorous roleplays highlighting communication barriers, and demonstrations of alternative forms of communication like sign language, Braille, and Morse code. The event encouraged curiosity, empathy, and intercultural understanding through language learning, music, movement, and creativity.

Pleidleisiwch dros ddigwyddiad mwyaf arloesol eleni!  

I ychwanegu rhagor o gyffro i'r Diwrnod, gall unrhyw un sy'n ymweld â'r wefan bleidleisio dros yr hyn maen nhw'n ei feddwl yw'r digwyddiad Diwrnod Ieithoedd Ewrop mwyaf arloesol. Gall hyn fod o achos ei greadigrwydd, pa mor hawdd yw ei efelychu, neu gan ei fod wir yn cynrychioli ysbryd y Diwrnod.  Bydd modd pleidleisio am gyfnod o fis o 20 Medi – 20 Hydref, a bydd yr enillydd yn cael ei gyhoeddi ym mis Rhagfyr. Bydd gwobr fechan i drefnydd y digwyddiad sy'n derbyn y mwyaf o bleidleisiau.

The event received 900+ votes and was organised by Istituto Superiore “Secusio”, Caltagirone, Italia.
