Many Languages, One European Community

 Language Day, 26 Sep 2026 - 30 Sep 2026, Puszcza Marianska, Poland

On European Day of Languages 2026, we will celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures at our high school. During foreign language lessons, students will discuss why learning foreign languages is important and how language skills can broaden their educational and personal opportunities. We will also announce information about the Erasmus+ recruitment process within our Erasmus Accreditation. Students who have participated in Erasmus+ activities at our school in recent years will be interviewed about their experiences, personal development and the benefits of international mobility. As part of the celebration, we will also connect online with our partner schools in Spain, Greece, Italy and the Czech Republic. We will send them our European Day of Languages greetings and share memories of our Erasmus+ mobilities, recalling the experiences, activities and friendships we have built together. It will be a great opportunity to celebrate languages, strengthen our international partnerships and look back on our Erasmus+ experiences, while encouraging more students to take part in future mobility opportunities.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

2025's 'most innovative event' is
One day · Une journée · Un día · Ein Tag... for languages!

The event received 900+ votes and was organised by Istituto Superiore “Secusio”, Caltagirone, Italia.

Congratulations to the winners!

We were greatly impressed by the creativity and great effort which went into organising the events submitted and would like to thank all organisers of EDL events in 2025.
