Events of the European Day of Languages

Tonguetwisters of European origin

School project, 26.09.2018 - 21.12.2018, Farres, Greece

On September 26th 2018 the pupils of the 6th Grade at the Primary School of Farres took on a special project so as to celebrate the European Day of Languages and honour 2018 as the Year of Cultural Heritage. The aim of the project was to become aware of multilingualism within Europe by means of exploring English, French and Italian tonguetwisters in terms of meaning and pronunciation. The pupils' efforts to achieve "flawless" pronunciation are presented on the accompanying video.
