Also this year Molise is mobilizing to celebrate the European Day of Languages with activities designed for students of all levels and for everyone, activities that will be held inside schools and in the squares. Europe Direct Molise, the Schools of the region, the Apolonia Association, the Salam Association, the Embassy of Poland in Italy, the Regional School Directorate for Molise, the Municipality of Termoli, the Municipality of Campobasso, and the Termoli Tourist and Tourist Board, together to once again remind us of the role and importance for each of us of the knowledge of languages, from a personal and professional point of view, in times of peace and, unfortunately we can confirm, also in times of war. School students led by their teachers and anyone who would like to join them, will try their hand at language skills, including those that are not normally learned behind school desks (ex: Polish, Arabic, etc...). Special attention will be paid to the Ukrainian language. The goal is not only to reward knowledge of one or more languages but also the desire to get involved and take up the challenge. All, of course, under the banner of fun and healthy competition.

CAMPOBASSO
Language games and competitions are planned in the regional capital at various middle, high and junior high schools.  In the  In the Guglielmo Marconi High school in Campobasso we have organized languistic corner also irish language, dedicated to Halloween, and a digital english corner. Shelter guests from Argentina and North African countries also participated. The same thing happened the day before, Oct. 7, in Termoli at the Boccardi Tiberio High School.

TERMOLI
The week of Sept. 26-30 will feature language games and kermesses. Teachers and pupils from the Brigida Comprehensive Institute and the Oddo Comprehensive Institute will once again try their hand at games and other activities on language proficiency.
In the first case, the organizers are Europe Direct Molise, the Headmaster and teachers of the Istituto Comprensivo Brigida and the APolonia Association.
Games and language competitions (we will have a real treasure hunt) will take center stage as always, but this year the celebration of the Day of Languages will be enriched with other meanings.
There are two new features: the first will consist of an exhibition themed on Baltic Amber, for centuries a glue of unity among peoples, starting Sept. 28, in Termoli's Borgo Antico. The exhibition will open on Sept. 27, in the evening, in the presence of the public and authorities and will remain open until Oct. 9. It will be housed inside a structure in the seaside town's Borgo Antico and sees the collaboration of the Termoli Tourist and Visitors' Board. It will feature 33 50x70 cm format panels containing photos by Aleksander Chmiel and Marek Wyszomirski. It is the result of a collaboration between the Polish Academy of Science in Rome, the Warsaw Earth Museum, the Opera Hosianna Association and the Consulate of the Polish Embassy in Rome.
The second new feature this year will be the presence of lecturers and experts from Poland and Ukraine. They are partners in a project presented by the Apolonia Association and the Brigida Comprehensive Institute of Termoli (with the collaboration of Europe Direct Molise) , entitled "Young people remember the Shoah - SOS Ukraine" , which won the European Citizen of the Year Award 2022, representing together with another project Italy among the countries of the European Union.  In Italy, two projects were awarded, one of which is this one from Molise. The guest delegation will consist of: 
1.	Aleksander Jan Giedroyć - retired engineer, lives in Kharkiv - President War Refugee Foundation in Ukraine - Vice-President of the Poland International Foundation Co-founder of the World Economic Poland Foundation
2.	Tamara Rodenko - doctor in Kharkiv, vice-president of the War Refugee Foundation in Ukraine; Supervisor of all humanitarian projects
3.	Natalia Zhuk - president Ukrainian-Polish Ass.of Lviv
4.	Natalia Fir - physician from Kiev; honorary professor of the Oxford European Academy of Medicine. Doctor specializing in natural complementary medicine. Lecturer at the European Institute of Natural Sciences in Germany
5.	Pawel Spiewak - sociologist, historian, extraordinary professor University of Warsaw, son of prominent Polish poets
6.	Iwona Popczak - history teacher; Italian-Polish interpreter
The foreign delegation will take part in the activities of the Day of Languages and discuss with those present at a moment dedicated the importance of language knowledge, organized at the Brigida Comprehensive Institute on China Street in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 27.
Also taking part in the celebration of the Day of Languages on Termoli is the Turismol Association with its proposed guided language tour of the ancient seaside city.
