Events of the European Day of Languages

Lingvovizija

Celebration, 26.09.2017 , Rozaje, Montenegro

We choose to promote our school through amusing and playful activities targeting chosen group of people so that we raise the awareness of the importance of knowing languages nowadays and appreciating all kinds of culture.
For this reason, pupils with high vocal and linguistic abilities are artists of the show called Lingvovizija;and parents, gathered with other pupils of our school are the audience. Lingvovizija is based on the concept of Eurovision. Therefore, it is supposed to be performed in many different languages, such as: English ,French, German, Montenegrin, Albanian, Macedonian, Serbian, Swedish, Turkish, Russian, Romanian and Italian. Few of them has choreography and cultural costume.
During singing, each flag of EU is shown in the background. Taking into consideration the fact that our singers need support, we formed choir. Task of the choir is to help singers, hold the flags of different countries (which they previously made themselves) and, above all, to improve their linguistic capability and cultural awareness on language importance.
Hemce, thisborganisation has aim to glorify differences through language that leads us to the one fertile language tree.
At the end of the linguo show, we come out on the scene singing the song "Hello To All The Children Of The World" and waving the flags.
