Language heart-to-heart

 Workshop, 18 Sep 2023 - 26 Sep 2023, Beograd, Serbia

A series of workshops is planned containing different activities that will be organized according to the students' level and age. Students will be divided into three teams, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Beginner-level students will participate in various activities such as European music and cuisine quizzes. Intermediate-level students will take a tour through European countries using audiovisual materials , which will give them abundant opportunity to become more familiar with interesting facts about culture, art and customs of different countries. Advanced-level students will be watching and discussing video clips from movies based on famous novels. They will be able to strengthen their language competences with the focus on the differences between standard language and everyday speech as well as on dialectal differences within the same language. In the end, all the participants will make postcards and give them to one another as a present since the main aim of all the planned activities is to promote the importance of empathy, cultural diversity and language learning.
