European Day of Languages

Language Day, 26 Sep 2023, Aristomenis , Greece

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, we discussed the wealth of languages coexisting in Europe and beyond. Then, the students talked about the languages they speak, have been learning or would like to learn in the future. We emphasized on how speaking a foreign language can bridge the gaps between people and promote cultural understanding and respect. Afterwards, the students created their own posters promoting this Day. They answered questions such as: Why learn a foreign language? or How can we learn a new language?
