A Journey Through the Languages of Europe: Learning words, Songs, and Traditions

For this year's European Day of Languages, young learners will have several different activities. They will mark countries of Europe on a map with different flags and learn how to say 'hello' and 'thank you' in different languages. They will create a poster about a specific country, and include basic phrases, pictures of famous places, traditional food, and interesting facts. Then, they will sing a simple song in different languages and dance while singing. After that, they will play a language bingo with different words in several European languages. The students divided into teams will also do a quiz about different European languages and countries. To spice things up, students will be told in advance to dress up in the colours of their favourite European flag.

Norėdami suteikti Europos kalbų dienai šiek tiek žaismingumo, kviečiame visus svetainės lankytojus balsuoti už, jų manymu, inovatyviausią Europos kalbų dienos renginį. Tai gali būti renginys, kuris pasižymi kūrybiškumu, siunčia tam tikrą žinutę pasauliui ar tiesiog puikiai reprezentuoja Dienos dvasią. Balsavimas vyks vieną mėnesį – nuo rugsėjo 20 d. iki spalio 20 d., o laimėtojas bus paskelbtas gruodį. Daugiausiai balsų surinkęs renginio organizatorius gaus nedidelį paskatinamąjį prizą. Kviečiame dalyvauti!
