How are you?

 Language Day, 26 szept. 2025, ΘΕΣΣΑΛΟΝΙΚΗ, Görögország

On Friday, September 26th, our school joined in the celebration of the European Day of Languages. This year’s theme was: “Languages open hearts and minds.” During the breaks, students took part in a fun language challenge where they could win small prizes! Each student picked a card with a European language and discovered how to say “How are you?” in that language. After scanning the QR code, they listened to how it’s pronounced — and then gave it a try in front of the camera in order to create a multilingual video celebrating the beauty of Europe’s languages. The prizes included candies, bracelets, bookmarks, and stickers kindly sent to our school by the Council of Europe for the occasion. A big congratulations to everyone who took part! Let’s keep our hearts and minds open to new languages and cultures!

Struggling to find ideas for an event for this year’s European Day of Languages? It can be challenging to organise events that are fun, inclusive, have an educational element and motivate a large number of people. Szavazzon az év leginnovatívabb eseményére!  

A nap még izgalmasabbá tétele érdekében a weboldal látogatóinak lehetősége van szavazni a leginnovatívabb NYEN-eseményre. A választás oka lehet a kreativitás, az átültethetőség vagy egyszerűen csak az, hogy tökéletesen fejezi ki a nap szellemiségét.  A szavazásra szeptember 20. és október 20. között van lehetőség, a győztest pedig decemberben jelentik be. A legtöbb szavazatot kapó esemény szervezője kisebb jutalomban részesül.

Az esemény több mint 900+ szavazatot kapott, amelyet a Istituto Superiore “Secusio”, Caltagirone, Italia.
