On the occasion of the European Day of Languages (26 September 2025), the sixth-grade students enthusiastically participated in a creative and experiential German lesson dedicated to linguistic diversity and the unity of the peoples of Europe. During the activity: 1️⃣ They practiced the German language, learning how to say in German the names of various European languages (e.g. Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Spanisch, Rumänisch, etc.), thus realizing the importance of multilingualism in today’s world. 2️⃣ They listened to and sang the song “Wir alle sind Europa” from the German student’s book Luftballons 1, discussing the countries of Europe, cooperation, and friendship among peoples through music. 3️⃣ They cultivated their emotional intelligence by learning, in German and in other European languages, “the words that unite us,” such as friendship – respect – thank you, etc. Through this activity, the students realized that although languages may differ, the values and emotions that people express are universal. 4️⃣ Finally, they unfolded their artistic talent by creating a colorful poster featuring all these words in different languages, the flags of the countries, and the names of the languages in German, under the german title “Worte, die uns verbinden.” The poster was created as part of this year’s European poster competition themed “Languages Open the Heart and the Mind,” (In German: Sprachen öffnen Herz und Geist”) conveying the message that language learning is not merely knowledge — it is a bridge of communication, friendship, and mutual respect among the peoples of Europe.

În aceste vremuri incerte, poate fi dificil să organizezi evenimente care să garanteze siguranța, fiind în același timp atrăgătoare pentru un număr mare de oameni. Mai jos sunt câteva idei pentru a vă stimula creativitatea, majoritatea bazate pe principiul „Începe mic pentru a deveni mare”! 20 idei de activităţi care pot fi realizate respectând regulile distanțării fizice.

Votați pentru evenimentul cel mai inovator al acestui an! 

Pentru a pigmenta un pic Ziua, orice persoană care vizitează site-ul web poate vota pentru evenimentul pe care îl consideră ca fiind cel mai inovator. Votul poate să se bazeze pe creativitatea sau pe transferabilitatea evenimentului sau pe faptul că reprezintă adevăratul spirit al Zilei. Este posibil să votați timp de o lună, din 22 septembrie până în 21 octombrie. Evenimentul câștigător va fi anunțat în luna decembrie. Organizatorii evenimentului care va obține cele mai multe voturi vor primi un premiu.

Evenimentul a primit peste 900 de voturi și a fost organizat de către Istituto Superiore “Secusio”, Caltagirone, Italia.
