European languages visiting Aleksa Santic

Conference, 26 ira. 2024, Алекса Шантић, Serbia

Every year, on September 26, our students engage in a variety of fun and educational activities designed to broaden their understanding of different European languages and cultures. This year, our teachers have planned a fun activity called the Language Fair. There will be three groups of students, each representing one of the languages we study at our school (Serbian, English, and Russian), as well as an additional language chosen by the students. The students will work hard to prepare booths that showcase the language, culture, music, dance, games, photography and traditional cuisine from the countries where these languages are spoken. It will be a vibrant celebration of diversity, with students learning from each other as they explore the different booths. Finally, all participants will come together to dance the traditional Serbian kolo, a dance symbolizing unity and equality for everyone. We believe that this activity will not only make language learning enjoyable but also foster a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultures that make up our world. Our school is located in a small village, with limited resources, so we would greatly appreciate any help and materials you could share with us. Thank you for your support in making our school a place where learning is both meaningful and fun. If you have any questions or would like to know more about our school, please do not hesitate to reach out.
