EDL Celebration Tunisia: Languages for peace/ Les langues pour la paix

Since 26 September 2001, at the initiative of the Council of Europe, the European Day of Languages (EDL) has been celebrated every year. This day highlights Europe's linguistic and cultural diversity and celebrates the richness and plurality of languages. It aims to raise public awareness, particularly among young people, of the importance of learning foreign languages. This year, EUNIC Tunisia (European Union National Institutes for Culture), the Council of Europe and the European Union Delegation will be celebrating the European Day of Languages (EDL) from 26 to 28 September. Not-to-be-missed events: 26 September: *Official opening of the EDL *Seminar: ‘The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Language Teaching’, - involving ECML expert Bernd Rüschoff 27 September : *Speak-Dating followed by a Karaoke evening at the Institut Français de Tunis de Tunisie, Saturday 28 September, from 2 to 6 p.m.: *Open Day at the cultural institutes, -Instituto Cervantès (Spain) -Instituto Italiano di Cultura (Italy) -Goethe Institut (Germany), -Institut français de Tunisie (France), -Délégation Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgium), -Embassy of Switzerland, -Embassy of the Czech Republic
