Eurosong, as we see it!

 School project, 01 Sep 2017 - 31 Oct 2017, Carcaixent, Spain

Eurosong, as we see it! is a school project among different European countries (Serbia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Croatia, Russia, Portugal, Spain,...) and Turkey. First of all, we are going to introduce ourselves to the project partners and each school is going to record their pupils singing a song in one of their official languages and the lyrics will be translated into English. Afterwards, pupils are going to vote for the song they like most. Our students are going to do a research on Europe and make a display at school, we are going to learn and share tongue twisters in different languages and we are going to exchange postcards with all the participants. This project is going on in eTwinning. Finally, we are going to work collaboratively on an e-magazine. On the 26th September we are going to celebrate the diversity of languages we are in contact with.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

2019's 'most innovative event' is

The event received 1000+ votes and was organised by Colegiul Național "Ștefan cel Mare".

Congratulations to the winners!

We were most impressed by the creativity and great effort which went into organising the events submitted and would like to thank all organisers of EDL events in 2019.
