EDL in Andros, Greece

 School project, 25 Eyl 2023 - 27 Eyl 2023, Andros, Yunanistan

For European Language Day, the 5th grade students of the Primary School of Andros in Greece were familiarised with 23 European Languages. We learnt the phrase "good morning" in all of them and wrote it down in the respective alphabets. With the help of the 6th grade, we accompanied the words with flags to create a colourful poster! On Sep 27, the students presented their work to their classmates and teachers! First, they read aloud a few words on the day and discussed the benefits of multilingualism. Then, our 23 fifth-graders greeted us in a different language holding a flag! In the end, they received a round of applause and took photos! It was a day to remember! * * * Με αφορμή την Ευρωπαϊκή Ημέρα Γλωσσών, οι μαθητές της 5ης τάξης του ΔΣ της Άνδρου γνωρίσαν 23 γλώσσες της Ευρώπης! Μάθαμε τη λέξη «καλημέρα» και την καταγράψαμε στο αλφάβητο της κάθε γλώσσας! Τέλος, με τη βοήθεια της 6ης τάξης, συνοδέψαμε κάθε φράση με τις αντίστοιχες σημαίες! Την ημέρα της εκδήλωσης, παρουσιάσαμε τη δουλειά μας και κάθε μαθητής μας καλημέρισε σε μία διαφορετική γλώσσα! Στο τέλος χειροκροτήθηκε η προσπάθεια όλων και βγάλαμε αναμνηστικές φωτογραφίες! Περάσαμε υπέροχα!
