Foster an appreciation for linguistic diversity. Lesson Outline: 1. Discussion Prompt: - Start with a question: "Why is language important in our daily lives?" Allow students to share their thoughts and experiences learning different languages. Discuss the importance of linguistic diversity in Europe 2. Introduction to the European Day of Languages: - Explain the origin and purpose of the European Day of Languages (September 26). - Video Presentation: 3. Language Spotlights: - Break students into small groups, research about the origin of languages and create a language family tree 4. Contest in quizziz
