Cultural Bridges Across Europe

 Celebration, 09 Sep 2024 - 30 Sep 2024, Kikinda, Serbia

This year's event will focus on peace and friendship. Class 1 pupils will learn greetings and nice words in the languages of our eTwinning partners. Class 2 pupils will learn the basics of coding and exchange encrypted messages of peace with their friends from Europe. Class 3 pupils will paint pebbles and write beautiful words in foreign languages. Class 4 pupils will design digital posters to present the interesting facts of our partner countries. Younger pupils will also participate in an online meeting during which everyone will sing the song "If You're Happy" in their languages. Older pupils will collaborate with children from Europe on the creation of interactive language games, as well as a digital cookbook and a video collection of the most beautiful songs and/or tongue twisters in their mother tongue. Also, divided into teams, at the school level, they will participate in general culture quizzes and language challenges.
