Idioms dress to impress

To celebrate the importance of language learning in the EDL at “Dante Alighieri” in Foggia, every year pupils of lower secondary school work about idioms of different languages and cultures to discover the cultural meanings behind these phrases. This year pupils have learnt and compared idioms about dress in English, French and Italian and have made drawings for an exhibit in the hall of the school. Foreign pupils have added other idioms about dress in the language of their countries.
