MAKE A BISCUIT FOR A FRIEND

 Language festival, 23 Set. 2024 - 27 Set. 2024, Kraljevo, Serbia

‘’MAKE A BISCUIT FOR A FRIEND’’ ACTIVITY 1: There are 50 students, aged 9-15, placed into groups according to their age; the students choose a recipe of a biscuit from a country of their own choice; the students translate the recipe into the Serbian language; at home they make the biscuits; at school they organize a fundraising sale of the biscuits; they present the recipes in the language of the country of origin and in the Serbian language; the money raised at the event is to be used to buy books in different languages for the school library. ACTIVITY 2: A group is formed (one student from each grade, age 9-15); students choose a recipe for a biscuit from a country of their own choice; translate the recipe into the Serbian language; make the biscuits in the school kitchen; donate the biscuits to the children who attend after school activities at school.
