Languages for Peace

 Language Day, 23 MFómh 2024 - 27 MFómh 2024, Považská Bystrica, Slovakia

"Languages for Peace" is a call to action. Embracing multilingualism can build bridges among cultures, reduce conflicts, and create a more peaceful world. Let us celebrate our linguistic diversity and use it as a force for unity and understanding. Languages carry culture, history, and identity. By learning multiple languages, individuals gain insights into different cultures, reducing prejudices and fostering empathy, essential for peaceful coexistence. During the day of European languages our teachers and students will prepare non-traditional lessons in which they will promote multilingualism by learning and gaining insights into different cultures, reducing prejudices and fostering empathy, essential for peaceful coexistence.
