Long live the European Day of Languages!

 Language Day, 22 Set. 2024 - 26 Set. 2024, LONGWY, France

Merci / Gracias / Thank you / Grazie / Danke On the occasion of the European Days of Languages, students from the Alfred Mézières high school in Longwy created a language wall. On the one hand, the values of countries such as England, the United States, Spain, Latin America and Germany were studied and then highlighted on this wall. Furthermore, the entire high school was able to take part in a collaborative project in which all members of the high school were invited to write, in another language wall, a proverb, a motto or a word that had meaning for them. The students showed great pride in participating in these two projects, finding real meaning in the words and in this collective approach. They were able to cooperate and establish interlingual links between them. Mutual assistance, good humor and reflection reigned throughout the activity. This projet not only celebrated linguistic diversity, but also promoted multilingualism and intercultural communication within the high school. One thing is certain : the high school is full of linguistic and creative talent. Long live the European Day of Languages
