Let's celebrate EDL 2024!

 Celebration, 26 Set. 2024 - 01 Out. 2024, Mortágua, Portugal

On 26th September, Agrupamento de Escolas de Mortágua celebrated the European Day of Languages with activities aimed at the school community. Organised at the Secondary School, the initiative involved English, Portuguese, and Citizenship and Development classes, in articulation with the School Library. The event highlighted the importance of languages as a bridge to peace and understanding across cultures. Under the theme '2024: Languages for Peace', Year 10 students from classes 10A and 10B+C created various creative works, including posters for the European competition. These works, which were shown at school and published in the school Facebook page, reflected linguistic and cultural diversity, promoting awareness of the role of languages in building a more peaceful and inclusive world.
