European Day of Languages

"Celebrated each year on 26 September, the European Day of Languages (EDL) is a means of promoting awareness among the general public of the importance of language learning and protecting the linguistic heritage. The Council of Europe will mark the 2024 European Day of Languages under the motto “Languages for peace”, highlighting how linguistic diversity and language education can play a key role in promoting a culture of peace, living together and democracy."

Etsitkö ideoita tämänvuotisen Euroopan kielten päivän tapahtumaa varten? Joskus voi olla haastavaa järjestää tapahtumia, jotka ovat hauskoja ja osallistavia, jotka toteuttavat opetuksen tavoitteita ja jotka motivoivat suurta joukkoa ihmisiä. Seuraavassa on muutamia ideoita inspiraation lähteeksi. Useimmat niistä lähtevät liikkeelle ajatuksesta, että "pienestä on hyvä ponnistaa"! 20 ideaa toteutettavaksi tämän vuoden EDL:n tapahtumissa:

2024's 'most innovative event' is
Long live the European Day of Languages/ Vive la Journée européenne des langues

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
