WORLD RADIO MEETS EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

 Language classes, 23 Medi 2024 - 27 Medi 2024, Volos, Greece

Our learners celebrated European Day of Languages in classroom by taking part in different activities that appealed to different interests, skills and types of intelligence. They worked alone, in pairs or in groups to draw posters, to play word games, to explore data on the platform of edl. Most exciting part of the celebration was the time allocated to live radio broadcast, when students could choose a country, a specific city and a random radio station listening to e.g. a sports broadcast or a music programme, dancing along or trying to identify common words. Students had the chance to locate the broadcast on a world map so apart from the fun, the lesson served for a number of educational purposes.
